Research and Reports on Diagnostic Endoscopy is an open access, peer-reviewed, scientific journal that focusses on the publication of recent research findings and innovations pertaining to the diagnostic applications of endoscopy. Endoscopy is a non-surgical method of examining the interior of body cavity for medical reasons. It is usually performed by inserting the endoscopic apparatus inside the body of a fully conscious or anesthetized patient. The journal is directed towards the worldwide communication of novel findings regarding the application of endoscopic procedures in medical imaging and diagnosis of health discrepancies of visceral organs.
The scope of the Research and Reports on Diagnostic Endoscopy journal includes gastroscopy, colonoscopy, liver biopsy, bowel cancer, gallstones, irritable bowel syndrome, gastrointestinal disease diagnosis, capsule endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, gastritis, ulcerative colitis, peptic ulcer etc.
The journal also publishes manuscripts that highlight recent developments of endoscopic tools and techniques such as endoscopic VR stimulators, disposable endoscopy, capsule endoscopy and measuring endoscopy. The journal emphasizes on the publication of manuscripts showcasing conceptual and technological breakthroughs in endoscopy associated fiber optics, rod-lens endoscopes and disinfections methods.
