Biography
Dr. Kallifatidis received his Ph.D. in 2009 from the Ruperto Carola University of Heidelberg, Germany, studying mesenchymal- and cancer stem cell-based therapeutic strategies in pancreatic cancer. He conducted postdoctoral research at the Marine Biomedical and Biotechnology Research Program, Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute at Florida Atlantic University working primarily on the development of high-throughput screening assays to identify inhibitors of the tumor promoting potential of mast cells.Research Interest
