Biography
He is at present the Director of the Center of Excellence for Nano-, Micro-, and Neuro-Electronics, Sensors and Systems and the Director of the NSF Center for Wireless Nanosensors and Systems (WiNS). He is the President of Global Institute of Nanotechnology in Engineering and Medicine (GINTEM). The purpose of this Institute is to create a global effort to solve current and future medical concerns using advanced nanotechnologies by developing Research Hospitals at selected overseas countries. The GINTEM is a non-profit organization that also promotes research and education pertaining to the design and development of Nano-, Bio-, and Info-Tech Sensors and Systems. This Institute currently has affiliation with various leading Universities around the world helping work force and economic development in Nanomaterials, Nanotubes and Nanocomposites, Low cost Flexible Electronics, Health-care and Health diagnostics, Renewable and Green Energy driven systems, and Information Technology.
