Biography
Dr. Sudheer Ravuri, Ph.D is Deputy Director of Center for Regenerative Sports Medicine (CRSM) at Steadman Philippon Research Institute (SPRI), Vail, CO, designated US Olympic National Medical Center. Prior to joining SPRI, Dr. Ravuri was Research Associate at the University of Pittsburgh and worked with world renowned scientists in the fields of gene therapy and regenerative medicine, in addition to collaborative research project with Nobel laureate, Dr. Hargobind Khorana. Dr. Ravuri obtained M.Sc and Ph.D degrees in virology and graduated from India?s prestigious medical institute, AIIMS, New Delhi in 2006 with an Indian patent for his PhD thesis work. Dr. Ravuri served as PI, Co-I, Mentor in Plastic Surgery foundation grant awards and also lead inventor in an IP filed at the University of Pittsburgh. Currently, Dr. Ravuri is actively involved in conducting bench to bedside clinical translational research and actively serving as Co-PI, Co-I and Mentor in several ongoing and newly funded research projects focusing on Adipose Derived Stem Cells, Characterization and translation of PRP and BMAC for Orthopaedic implications and better aging.
