Biography
Dr. Roopashri is currently working as a Postdoctoral research Fellow in the Department of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Centere. She have more than 7 years of research experience in the field of Neuroscience, Neurochemistry, Virology, developmental biology, Molecular biology, Immuno-oncology and cancer diagnostics. She have extensive experience studying rat and mouse models of disease using invitro and invivo gene delivery via recombinant viruses, shRNA knockdown, DREADDs, transgenic overexpression, electrophysiology and behavior techniques. She have demonstrated these techniques in numerous peer-reviewed journals such as Molecular Brain, BMC Neuroscience, Neurobiology of learning and Memory and Journal of Neuroscience among others.
