Biography
Dr. Kahilo?ullar? was graduated from Ankara University (Turkey), School of Medicine in 1999. He was enrolled into the neurosurgical training program as resident at Department of Neurosurgery at Ankara University, and completed this program in 2006. Afterwards, he completed his doctoral (PhD) study in Clinical Neuroanatomy at Department of Anatomy at Ankara University in 2011. He became Associate Professor in 2014. He has been working as associate professor of neurosurgery at Ankara University.
He worked as an observer in Miami University, Department of Neurosurgery with Prof. Heros in 2002 and in Roma Catholic University, Department of Neurosurgery with Prof. Di Rocco in 2012. He completed four EANS Courses in 2007.
He is a member of Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Neurosurgical Society (TNS), European Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery (ESPN) and International Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery (ISPN). He was the head of TNS Young Neurosurgeons Committee (2012-2013) and head of TNS Surgical Neuroanatomy Committee (2014-2016).
Dr. Kahilo?ullar? have over than 50 papers in international literature with over than 400 citations.
He is mainly interested in pediatric neurosurgery, neuroendoscopy and surgical neuroanatomy.
He is married and have two daughters.
