Biography
Dr. Muhammad Khan received his doctoral degree in Cell Biology/Cancer Chemical Biology from Northeast Normal University Changchun, China in 2012. Dr. Khan served as Assistant Professor in Department of Zoology, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan till Feb.28, 2014. Currently he is working as Associate Professor in College of Basic Medical Sciences of Dalian Medical University, Dalian, China. Targeting deregulated cell signaling pathways in cancer cells with natural small molecules and exploiting biochemical properties of cancer cells for selective killing of cancer cells is the main focus of Dr. Khan?s current research. Dr. Khan has authored and co-authored 39 published scientific research articles, one book and one book chapter. His work has been cited over 670 times in various world renowned journals. He is the recipient of 4 funded research grants.
