Biography
Donatella Paolino, PhD received the degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (110/110) in 1999. In 2003 she obtained his Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Palermo. In 2008 she received the speciality in Hospital Pharmacy.
The current research interests of Donatella Paolino are in the design, preparation, characterization and evaluation of innovative colloidal drug delivery systems for the selective delivery of drugs. Topical administration of colloidal carriers is another research field under investigation for ophthalmic, dermal, transdermal, mucosal and transmucosal applications, in particular vaginal application.
She has published 86 peer reviewed articles in international scientific journals, 5 chapters in scientific books and 7 international patent. She is the author of more than 120 abstracts of presentations. At today she is associate professor at the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro.
Research Interest
