Mr.Anil kumar C V completed his Ph.D. (CUSAT, Cochin), M.Phil. (Univ. of Kerala), M.Sc. (Univ. of Kerala)Worked as JRF and SRF in Regional Research Laboratory (CSIR), Trivandrum -695 019 (1993-1996). Worked as a Lecturer (permanent), Dept of Mathematics, St. John’s College (affiliated to University of Kerala), Anchal PO, India (27 Sept. 1996-2000). Worked as a Senior Grade Lecturer (permanent), Dept of Mathematics, St. John’s College (affiliated to University of Kerala), Anchal PO, India (2000- 2005 Oct.19).

| Research Interest | ||
Presently working in the area of analysis and modeling of naturally occurring series from Ionospheric and Magnetospheric data. Investigated the chaotic dynamics of the time series of Total Electron Content (TEC), the geomagnetic horizontal Intensity (H) and the RING current index (Dst). The analysis based on the calculation of the invariant characteristics such as Lyapunov exponent, Correlation dimension, etc. and of the surrogate data test established the existence of a low dimensional deterministic chaotic system in all cases. Both the dynamics are efficiently modeled to an approximate functional relation in symbolic form using an evolutionary program. Continuing the analysis in the case of the Dst data also. The Wavelet analysis of these data sets is in progress. 3 papers are communicated to internationally reputed journals. Two of them are under revision Rheology, Atmospheric and magnetospheric chaos- linear and nonlinear time series analysis |
