Dr. Zheng graduated from The First Military Medical University, Guangzhou, Peoples Republic of China (PRC) and obtained degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2003. After 1-year as a resident surgeon, he switched to basic research and obtained Master of Immunology in South Medical University, Guangzhou, PRC in 2007 and then moved to University of Hong Kong to continue his investigation on immunology. During 9 years in University of Hong Kong, Dr. Zheng accomplished his PhD thesis and first Postdoc training and was promoted to Research Assistant Professor of Dept. of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine in 2015. At the end of 2016, Dr. Zheng moved to University of Iowa and initiated a 5-year exchanging scholarship.
