ZhangThe Rockefeller University,USA.
Biography
Supported by the Darwin Trust, Dr. Zhang received his PhD from the University of
Edinburgh in Molecular and Cellular biology in 2014. During the period of his study, Dr.
Zhang revealed the mechanisms associated with histone methyltransferases G9a and
GLP in the maintenance of genomic imprinting in mammalian embryonic stem (ES)
cells.
Research Interest
Currently, being as a postdoctoral researcher, Dr. Zhang is trying to decipher the
role of BET proteins in mammalian ES cells and the potential molecular basis that
involved in drug resistance of tumor (stem) cells at the Rockefeller University.
