Biography
Tsung-Hsien Chuang obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1992 from Iowa State University in the USA. He is currently an Investigator at the Immunology Research Center in the National Health Research Institutes in Taiwan. Dr. Chuang did his postdoctoral research at the Immunology Department in the Scripps Research Institute in San Diego, USA, and subsequently became an assistant professor and associate professor in that institute from 1992 to 1998. He was an associate professor at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center and Burnham Institute for Medical Research from 1998 to 2010.
Research Interest
Dr. Chuangs research interest is mainly focused on study of the function and molecular mechanism for control of innate immune responses in inflammatory and oncological diseases. He also has interest in targeting innate immune receptors to develop immune modulators.
