A Pharmaceutical Microbiologist with over 25 years industrial experience. I have extensive knowledge in managing and operating QC microbiological and analytical laboratories as well as manufacturing experience in aseptic production. I have specialist knowledge in the microbiological assurance of aseptic processes and environmental control, non-sterile pharmaceuticals and API facilities. Dr. Sandle is a tutor with the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Manchester for the university?s pharmaceutical microbiology MSc course. In addition, Dr. Sandle serves on several national and international committees relating to pharmaceutical microbiology and cleanroom contamination control (including the ISO cleanroom standards). He is a committee member of the Pharmaceutical Microbiology Interest Group (Pharmig); and is a member of several editorials boards for scientific journals. He was a member of the National Blood Service advisory cleaning and disinfection committee.
