Biography
Nidhi Aggarwal is a Postdoctoral fellow in Department of Structural Biology, Weizmann Institute of Science since January 2014. She has performed directed evolution and site directed mutagenesis of a hydrolase. In the process of evolving the proteins, she has characterized more than 50 variants. She did a short postdoc at IIT Madras from 2013-2014 on characterization of S-specific reductases. She completed her Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT- Madras), 2013. Her work involved biochemical, biophysical characterization and crystallisation of R-specific reductase. To her credit, she has 4 papers in international journals and 1 patent
Research Interest
Her research interest included green chemistry, protein engineering and directed evolution.
