Biography
Margaret Hammersla is an Assistant Professor at the University Of Maryland School Of Nursing and an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Hammersla serves as the Co-Program Director at University of Maryland School of Nursing for the Adult - Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program. Ms. Hammersla maintains a clinical practice at the University of Maryland Medical Center in the Emergency Department and at Lifebridge Primary Care Clinic. Ms. Hammersla area of research includes use of simulation in APRN programs and investigating interventions to improve function in older adults. Additionally Ms. Hammersla is an active member of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty serves a chair of the Member Resource Committee and a member of the Conference Planning Committee.
