Biography

Seventeen years of experience in E.N.T gave free hand over surgeries such as tonsillectomy, septoplasty, myringoplasty, tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, emergency and elective tracheostomy, lobuloplasty, head & neck cyst, sinus and fistula excision, foreign body removal from nose, ear, oral cavity, esophagus and bronchus, MLS, FESS, optic nerve decompression, CSF fistula repair, endoscopic transnasal transsphenoid pituitary adenoma excision, choanal atresia repair, cut throat repair, stapedotomy, salivary gland excision, rhinoplasty, thyroidectomy and thyroplasty. Various diagnostic procedures such as pure tone audiometry, impedance audiometry, direct laryngoscopy, fibreoptic laryngoscopy, esophagoscopy, nasal endoscopy and examination under microscope were carried out independently. Also performed Cancer Surgeries like laryngectomy, maxillectomy, glossectomy and neck dissections. Involved in teaching of MBBS & MS students since postgraduation.

Comparative study on effects of complete nasal packing and nasal packing with airway. ? To study the role of antibiotic-steroid irrigation of middle ear in otitis media with small perforation & pulsatile discharge ? To compare the safety, efficacy and quality of life in patients with allergic rhinitis treated with levocetrizine and desloratidine. ? Intraturbinate diathermy Vs radiofrequency for inferior turbinate hypertrophy. ? A prospective case series evaluating efficacy and safety of combination of itraconazole and potassium iodide in rhinofacial conidiobolomycosis. ? To assess the quality of life in patients suffering from allergic rhinitis. ? A phase III randomized, double blind, multicenter, comparative, prospective clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Bepotastine tablet vs. Fexofenadine tablet in patients of Allergic Rhinitis.
