Biography
Dr. Fernando Aranda holds Biology and a Biochemistry degree from the University of Navarra. He then specializes in different strategies of Cancer Immunotherapy with a Master degree in Cellular & Molecular Biology and a Ph.D. from the University of Navarra - Center for Applied Medical Research (CIMA), Pamplona. He was in many different groups focus on cancer therapies in his postdoctoral stage (Pamplona, Paris, Barcelona and South Dakota). Currently, he is enjoying a postdoctoral contract "Sara Borrell" funded by Instituto de Salud Carlos III in the research group, Immune Receptors of the Innate and Adaptive System in IDIBAPS, Barcelona.
Research Interest
Dr. Fernando Aranda is interested in CAR-T Cell Therapies, role of Microbiota in Immune-checkpoint Immunotherapies, and new Relevant Molecules in Cancer Immunotherapy to improve the efficacy of Antitumor Immune response.
