Biography

Dr. Kalyanjyoti Deori is presently working as an assistant professor at the Department of chemistry, Kirori Mal college, University of Delhi, India. He has received his master?s degree in Chemistry and Ph.D. degree in material chemistry from the same university in 2009 and 2015 respectively. He was awarded Junior Research Fellowship in 2010 and Senior Research Fellowship in 2013 by CSIR-UGC, India and received International Travel Award from Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) (A Statutory body under Department of Science & Technology, Government of lndia) for attending a conference named ?International Conference on Nanotechnology, Nanomaterials & Thin Films for Energy Applications (NANOENERGY-2014)? held in University College London, UK, during 19-21 Feb 2014. He has published more than seven papers in reputed international journals, one national patent and one US patent is under process. He has received more than three best paper award in various international and national conferences . His main research activities are focused on development of metal oxide based hybrid nanocrystals for various catalysts and as energy material.

Research Interest

Inorganic chemistry, material chemistry, synthetic nano chemistry, morphology controlled synthesis of various metal oxide nanoparticles, nanocatalyst for industrially important organic transformations, effect of various shapes of nanoparticles, metal oxide based hybrid nanocrystals, supercapacitor materials (metal oxide nanoparticles), electrocatalytic methanol oxidation, water splitting reactions for evolution of hydrogen (HER) and oxygen (OER).
