Biography
Dr. John X. Wang is executive director of the National Institute of Quantum Computing (NIQC), USA. Having received the Ph.D. degree in reliability engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, Dr. Wang has authored/coauthored numerous books and papers on nanotechnology, quantum computing, reliability engineering, risk engineering, engineering decision making under uncertainty, robust design and Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, green electronics manufacturing, and poetry. Having been awarded the distinguished title of Principal Engineer ââ¬â Reliability (CTH - Controlled Title Holder) by GE Aviation Systems, Dr. Wang has also been affiliated with Raytheon, Rockwell Collins, Panduit, Whirlpool (Maytag), Visteon, Austrian Aerospace Agency/European Space Agency, Vienna University of Technology, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland, and Tsinghua University in China. Since "knowledge, expertise, and scientific results are well known internationally," Dr. Wang has been invited to present at various national & international engineering events.
