Biography
Doctor, Specialist in Hematology, currently Assistant Professor at the University of Rome "Foro Italico". The main research areas addressed in recent years were as follows: the evaluation of biological responses to physical exercise and training with particular reference to the changes induced on bio-humoral and cellular parameters, the biological responses induced by the administration of prohibited substances under anti-doping regulations, the effects of physical activity on cardiovascular risk conditions, applications of telemedicine, the evaluation of the risk parameters in elite athletes, martial metabolism and health impacts arising from the assumption of plant-derived supplements. He has also held positions at National and International level in the field of Medical and Anti-Doping Committees.
