Biography

Dr. Debora Prudente is a Postdoctoral fellow at the Federal University of Lavras - UFLA, Brazil. Graduated in Biological Sciences, at the Federal University of São João Del Rei - UFSJ (2009-2013). Scholarship holder for scientific initiation CNPq from 2010 to 2013. Master in Plant Physiology at UFLA (2014). PhD in Plant Physiology at UFLA (2017), with participation in an international internship from July 2015 to June 2016 at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Laboratory of Tropical Crop Improvement) in the city of Leuven, Belgium. Her doctoral thesis is entitled "Somatic embryogenesis, antioxidant metabolism and reserve mobilization during cryopreservation of Passiflora ligularis Juss. zygotic embryos". Additionally, she is actively involved in work projects and students coorientation.

Research Interest

She works in the field of plant physiology with emphasis on in vitro cultivation of medicinal and fruit species, specialized in cryopreservation of plants, biochemical and histological analyzes.
