Biography

Dr. Singh has been a faculty member at NYU Affiliated hospitals since 2002 and is currently working as a Clinical Associate Professor. Dr. Singh obtained her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi in 1987. She completed her adult neurology residency, as well as a two-year Clinical Neurophysiology at NYU Langone Center. Dr. Singh has held several leading positions at NYU Langone Affiliated Hsopitals, including Attending Staff Neurologist since 2002, Program Director of Adult Neurology, and Combined Neurology/Psychiatry residency program (2008-2010), Associate Director of Neurology, Acting Chief of Neurology. She is serving as a Chairman of Credentialing and Bylaws Committee and the Chief of Neurology service at Bellevue since April 2015. Dr. Singh has won teaching awards for her efforts in teaching medical students, adult and pediatric neurology residents, clinical neurophysiology fellows and other trainees across various departments. She has authored or co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and published three books: Case-Based Neurology (2013), 100 Questions and Answers about your Child’s Epilepsy (2008) and 100 Questions and Answers about Epilepsy (2006).
