Biography
Dr. Mohamed Hamdy lbrahim Abdalla has completed a six months International Clinical
Fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology (FINR) at the Department of Neuroradiology of the
University Hospital of Zurich from from lune 1G,2013 until December ls,2oI3.
During his training, Dr. Hamdy has attended the neurointerventional procedures and taken
active participation in the overall management of patients including clinical visits. He regularly
attended clinical lectures and other academic activities of the Department. He has also beeÃ
extensively trained on neurovascular models in our angio-laboratory.
Dr. Hamdy has acquired knowledge in pathophysiology and the natural history of
neurovascular disorders, indications and contraindications to neurointerventional procedures,
skills in the clinical and technical aspects of their implementation and familiarity with other
therapeutic alternatives, He has a good understanding of the pre- and post-operative
management of patients and understands basic sciences related to technical aspects of
neurointerventions and radiation safety
