Biography
Dr A.O. Ibhadon, a Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Chartered Chemist, Fellow, Higher Education Academy, heads the Catalysis and Catalytic Reactor Engineering Research group at the University of Hull. Dr Ibhadon has researched and collaborated actively in heterogeneous catalysis, catalytic reactors and fine chemicals synthesis as well as advanced nanoporous materials for over ten years with grants from the British Council, the Royal Society, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and EU FP7. In 2016, Dr Ibhadon was awarded a Newton grant of £69,670 to deliver a training course on advanced research methods for Waste Water Treatment as part of the Newton Bhabha Scheme (funding from the UK Department of Business, Innovation and Skills and the Science and Engineering Research Board of India).
