Dr. Abularrage specializes in vascular and endovascular surgery, with clinical interests in thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, endovascular aneurysm repair, visceral and lower extremity bypass, and carotid endarterectomy. He also specializes in lower extremity, carotid, visceral and renal angioplasty and stenting, as well as thrombolytic therapy. His research interests include outcomes in aneurysm repair and peripheral endovascular interventions.
Dr. Abularrage is a distinguished fellow to the Society of the American Board of Surgery and a recipient of the Zehner Award given by the Washington D.C. Chapter of the American College of Surgeons and the R. Clement Darling, Jr. Award given by the New England Society for Vascular Surgery.
