Associate Professor and Head, Department of Plant Sciences, School of Life Sciences, Manipal University,Karnataka, India. He completed Master of Science from University of Madras, India, Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy from Bharathidasan University, India and Post-Doctoral experience from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. He has 20 years of research and 15 years of teaching experience in various branches of Plant Science/Plant Biotechnology. He has 40 research publications to his credits in various International as well as National peer reviewed journals
