Biography

I grew up and received my medical college education in China. In the mid-1990s I moved to the US and received my Ph.D graduate as well as pathology residency training. Since finishing my training, I have been working in academic institutions and practicing pathology as well as involving various translation research and educational activities. Currently I am leading the pulmonary pathology clinical services and translational research at the University of Rochester Medical Center. I have been closely working with our clinical oncologists, pulmonologists as well as basic scientists for a variety of research. My interests mainly include the diagnosis as well as research in both neoplastic and non-neoplastic lung diseases. I am particularly interested in the biomarker study of lung cancer as well as the mechanism of pulmonary fibrosis.
