Biography
Muthukrishnan Renganathan received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India and he is a Post doctoral Research Associate in Department of Biology, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN and Research Associate, Department of Physiology, Loyola University School of Medicine, Maywood, Chicago, IL. His research focuses on Pre-clinical cardiac ion channel safety testing (hERG, KCNQ, hKv1.5, hKv4.3/CHIP2, Nav1.5, Kir 2.1, and Cav1.2), Nav Panel testing (Nav1.1, Nav1.2, Nav1.3,Nav1.4,Nav1.5, Nav1.6 and Nav1.7),Kv Panel testing (Kv1.1, Kv1.2, Kv1.3, Kv1.4 and Kv1.5). Additionally, Project management: Protocol development, Assay Development and validation.
