Biography
Mike has 15 years of academic experience with profound administrative and leadership skills. He has conducted several cutting-edge research in Applied Microbiology (Industrial), more particularly on second generation biofuel; Biosynthesis of nanoparticles from microbes and their applications; Cell and Enzyme Immobilization on novel bio-matrices of plant origin; Pilot scale production of microbial enzymes (amylase, lipase, cellulase, naringinase etc.) and their application in food industries. He is a member of professional bodies within and outside his nativity which include Nigerian Society for Microbiology; American Society for Microbiology; Society for Applied Microbiology and Society for Industrial Microbiology & Biotechnology. He has several publications to his credit in both local and international academic journals.
