Biography

Dr Jim Boyne is Lecturer in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Bradford School of Medical Sciences. He has completed his phd from University of Sheffield. His research area includes RNA, Cancer, Viruses

Research Interest

Dr Boyne is an early career research scientist who is in the process of establishing a melanoma research group at the University of Bradford. Prior to his appointment as lecturer, Dr Boyne held post-doctoral and senior post-doctoral positions at the Leeds Institute of Molecular Medicine (LIMM) and University of Leeds, which resulted in a number of published articles in high impact-factor journals such as EMBOJ and PNAS (the current H-index for JR Boyne is 12). Dr Boyne has a strong background in the molecular biology of cancer in addition to RNA processing and virology
