Biography
He earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in India and did post graduate training in Surgery from Chennai, India. He then worked and trained at University of Oxford in England, Cleveland Clinic and University of Arizona. He completed his colorectal fellowship and advanced robotic surgery training from Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan. He is board certified in Colorectal Surgery and General Surgery. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He has multiple publications, presentations and book chapters to his credit. He is particularly interested in clinical outcome-based research and research works which helps translating outcomes to modify clinical surgical practice.
