Biography
Romero Brandão, Professor and Researcher, is Biomedical graduated from the Federal University of Pernambuco in 2007 with theoretical and practical experience in Clinical-Laboratory Diagnosis. He holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Physiology from the Federal University of Pernambuco - CNPq (2009), Ph.D. in Biological Sciences at UFPE-FACEPE (2012), Postdoctoral Program by the National Postdoctoral Program, UFRPE, PNPD CAPES / FACEPE (2013-2015 ), Post-doctorate by the Visiting Specialist Program - PVE's, CAPES (2015 - 2016). It presents in its curricular structure experience in Teaching, Research and Extension in the areas of: 1) Biochemistry and Clinical Biochemistry, with emphasis on Chemistry of Macromolecules, working in the following subjects: Biochemistry and Biotechnology; Purification of proteins, enzymes and protease inhibitors by chromatographic methods; Clinical and experimental microbiology; Environmental Toxicity; Antioxidant compounds of plants; Isolation of biomolecules of plants with in vivo applications aimed at Laboratory Research in Clinical Biochemistry (biochemical and hormonal) and Hematology. 2) Anatomy, teaching practice; 3) Extension Courses in Improvement, Training and Updating.
