Biography

(1) Medical diagnosis, treatment and research of urological diseases. I am still in charge of clinical duties of offering alternative treatments to patients with chronic glomerulonephritis, IgA nephropathy, nephrotic syndrome, diabetic nephropathy, hypertensive nephropathy or end-stage renal diseases; (2) Mastered various routine operative techniques of renal surgery, including but not limited to, renal biopsy, deep venipuncture catheterization, hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, and peritoneal dialysis catheter, etc; (3) Firstly established one possible mechanism of podocyte damages in IgA nephropathy: abnormal IgA1 binds with mesangial cell, then actives PI3K and RAAS system in podocytes and lead podocytes damages, which lead to a new method to protect podocytes in IgA nephropathy; (4) Firstly reported the prevalence of isolated nocturnal hypertension in Chinese CKD patients and set up a role of isolated nocturnal hypertension in the prognosis of Chinese CKD patients, which indicated we need to do ambulatory BP monitor so that we can find and treat these special patients in clinical practice;
