Biography

He was born on November 8th 1969 in Egypt. Completed his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery-Tanta University Faculty of Medicine,Egypt in 1986-1992. M.Sc. in General Surgery from Tanta University and Ph.D. in Neurosurgery from Shinshu University School of Medicine, Japan. Did Internship from Tanta University Hospitals, Egypt in 1993-1994. He also did Cardiac surgery clerkships at Bursa University Hospital,Turkey;Riyadh Central Hospital,Saudi Arabia and Riyadh Al-Kharj Hospital,Saudi Arabia. He did his post graduate training from Tanta University Hospitals, Egypt; Shinshu University School of Medicine Matsumoto,Japan; Tokyo Women's Medical University,Japan and Medical College of Georgia,USA. HONORS AND AWARDS: 1986: Recipient of the Outstanding Graduation award (top 30 graduates) in the Republic High School Diploma examination, the Egyptian Ministry of Education. 1992: Recipient of the Outstanding Graduation award and Honors, Tanta University, Faculty of Medicine (4th on class of 320 graduates).Over the years he has served as a Clinical Demonstrator, Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer of Neurosurgery, Spine fellowship Director of Neurosurgery Department, Consultant Neurosurgeon, Consultant Spine surgeon, Attending Physician- Neurosurgeon.
