Biography
Dr. Shengyuan Yu is a headache specialist and engaged in the headache clinic in Chinese PLA General Hospital since 1993 after graduation. As a clinical neurologist and currently the Director of Department of Neurology, Chinese PLA General Hospital and Professor of Chinese PLA Postgraduate Medical School, he is interested in experimental studies, clinical studies and epidemiology of headache medicine focusing on migraine associated with obesity and depression, chronic daily headache. He has been the President of the Chinese Headache Society since 2010. He is also the Vice-president of Asian Regional Committee of Headache, President of Pain Medicine branch of Chinese Medical Society, Vice-president of Committee of Neurology, and China Medical Doctor Association. He serves as a vice editor -in-chief of the Chinese Journal of Pain Medicine and also as an associate editor of the Journal of Headache and Pain and an editor of Journals of the Chinese Medical Association.
