Biography
Dr. Recep Kesli was born in Konya, Turkey. Between 1988-1994 he survived medical faculty education at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine. After graduating he worked for three years as a goverment doctor. He had microbiolgy speicalist title in 2001 an than started to work as microbiology specialist in Konya Education and Research Hospital. He is working at Afyon Kocatepe University School of Medicine, Department of Medical Microbiology as Associate Editor and Chief. Dr. Kesli attended different applied courses of molecular diagnostic methods in medicine (Marmara Research Center blongs to The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey-TUBITAK). Dr. Kesli published his first book about anaerobic bacteria and wrote chapters in differenet national and international books. In the latest years, Dr. Kesli focused his investigations based on molecular diagnositc test reactives and techniques of HCV, and Helicobacter pylori. Membershep belongs to Dr. Kesli continuing at different national and international microbiology and clinical microbiology soceities. He attended many international and national congress and symposiums (more than fourty) presented many abstracts (more than one hundred) and also presented many speeches in international congresses. Dr. Kesli also published articles in international SCI/SCIE and national journals (more than sixty) in Turkish and English. He has h index 8. Dr Kesli has duties as editor in-chief, associate editor and editorial board member of different international and national journals. Dr. Kesli can speak English very well, and Arabic Language at intermediate level. He is married with three boys.
