Human gastrointestinal microbiota and its role in health and disease, probiotics and prebiotics science, technology and its application in development of novel commercial ingredients and consumer products, microbial biochemistry and physiology, carbohydrates and their role in human health and nutrition especially human milk oligosaccharides, clinical nutrition especially paediatrics and elderly, design execution and interpretation of human dietary intervention/clinical trials.
