Biography
Oleg Maksimov was born in Moscow, Russia, and moved to the United States in 1995. He received his PhD in Chemistry from the City University of New York in February 2002. After graduation he worked as a Research Scientist in the Pennsylvania State University (2002-2005). He later joined the American College of Healthcare Sciences where he currently acts as an Academic Dean and teaches Principles of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, Toxicology and Safety in Botanical Medicine, Aromatherapy Science, and Aromatherapy Chemistry.
Dr. Maksimov is an author and co-author of more than 60 articles published in peer-reviewed journals. He has also serves as a program evaluator for the American Council on Education and as a proposal reviewer for the Research Foundation of City University of New York.
