Biography
Dr. Nasrul Anuar Abd Razak graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia, IIUM with a B. Eng. Hons in Mechatronics Engineering, followed by MEngSc. And Ph.D in Upper Limb Prosthetics from University of Malaya, Malaysia. Nasrul?s research interests are quite wide-ranging under the general umbrella of Rehabilitation Engineering in Upper Limb Prosthetics. However, his main interests are the prosthetics design, the development of instrumentation for upper limb prosthetics and orthotics, and the assistive technology for rehabilitation. He is currently the Senior Lecturer and the coordinator of Centre for Prosthetic & Orthotics Engineering (CPOE), Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaya. He is currently the general secretary of International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics Malaysia (ISPO), member of International Engineering Association (IEANG), and member of Malaysian Society of Biomechanics Society (MSB) . He has numbers of publications in conference proceedings and journals. In 2012, he had joined a group of research which is known as High Impact Research (HIR), which had published a total of 52 ISI Index publications within 3 years. He also joined workshop and training for development carrier especially in a field of rehabilitation.
