Biography

Dr. Mohamed Hemida Abd-Alla is Professor of bacteriology at Assuit University,Egypt. In 1987, he was appointed as an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, Assiut University, Egypt. In 1991, he was appointed as Lecturer at the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, Assiut University, Egypt. In 1995, he was appointed as Senior Researcher at the Department of Plant Physiology and Genetics Research, University of Illinois, Urbana, IL, USA sponsored by Fulbright fellowship . In 1996, he was appointed as Assistant Professor at the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, Assiut University, Egypt. In 1997, he was appointed as Visiting Professor at the Institute of Plant Nutrition, Justeus Liebig University, Giessen, Germany sponsored by Alexander-von Humboldt fellowship. In 2001, he was appointed as Visiting Professor at the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. In 2007, he was appointed as Visiting Professor at the Institute of Plant Nutrition, Justeus Liebig University, Giessen, Germany. In 2009, he was appointed as Visiting Professor at the Department of Applied Biological Chemistry, Niigata University, Niigata, Japan sponsored by JSPS. His research interests in areas of nitrogen fixing bacteria, pathogenic bacteria, biofuel and bioremediation. Professor Abd-Alla is author of more than 90 publications in Peer review journals and authors of 2 books. He is member of several editorial Board of international Scientific Journals. Professor Abd-Alla awarded several projects in the field of Biofule and Biofertlizer from International agencies. Professor Abd-Alla awarded several Prizes such as State encouragement prize and Third world Academy prize.
