Biography

Dr. Manju Sharma, is a M.Pharm., Ph.D in Pharmacology from Hamdard University, New Delhi. She has been teaching in the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Jamia Hamdard, since 1995. She is actively involved in research and has guided 25 M.Pharm. and 10 PhD research projects till now. Currently she is guiding 03 M.Pharm. and 05 Ph.D. scholars. Major thrust areas of her research interests include Pharmacology & Toxicology, Apitherapy in Hepatotoxicity, Antioxidants in Diabetes Management, Pharmacological Intervention in Diabetes Mellitus, Free Radicals & Antioxidants, Cardiovascular Pharmacology, Drug Interaction studies with antidiabetic Drugs, Pharmacovigilance studies – ADR Monitoring, Drug Utilization Studies (DUS), Apitherapy in TB patients receiving DOTS & factors contributing to non compliance of DOTS.
