Biography

My name is Maliheh Arekhi. At the Department of Forest Engineering, Faculty of Forestry Studies I am a candidate for a PhD of Forest Engineering with a focus on Investigating Climate Change Impacts on Vegetation with Remote Sensing and forest inventory data. In the course of my education, I also developed special interest in other aspects of forest management like agricultural drought monitoring, tree species diversity, Land Surface Management (LST) maps, land use and land cover change and also I acquired knowledge to manage the forest lands for biodiversity. I have teaching experience in universities and doing research in two scientific project in Iran; excellent interpersonal, communication, computer and internet research skills. I am a responsible, ethical, and optimistic person. Additionally, I have a very positive attitude and truly embraces learning to know about remote sensing and GIS science. I am fluent in English, Persian, Turkish, and Turkmen, and possess excellent writing skills, great problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collectively
