Malgorzata Holynska

Malgorzata Holynska
materials and processes engineer, Philipps University Marburg, Marburg, Germany

Biography

Dr. habil. Malgorzata Holynska completed her Ph. D. in 2009 at Wroclaw University in Poland in the structural chemistry of rhenium(VI) oxidocomplexes. She continued her career as an Alexander von Humboldt postdoc fellow at Philipps University Marburg in Germany in the field of new magnetic materials. Subsequently in 2014 she completed her habilitation on the syntheses, structures and magnetic properties of new homo- and heterometallic oxime- or Schiff-base-bridged metal complexes. Since then she is Privatdozentin at the same university and her current research interests include search for single-molecule magnets with novel molecular architectures based on manganese and lanthanides, as well as study of antifungal agents based on Schiff-bases containing biologically relevant moieties.
