Biography
Academically, Dr Dichter has been actively involved with the ACCP Disaster Medicine Network, in which he has been a member since 2008. He served as an executive committee member for the Task Force for Mass Critical Care in partnership with the American College of Chest (ACCP) in publishing their 2014 Consensus Statement Care of the Critically Ill and Injured During Pandemics and Disasters: CHEST Consensus Statement, an update from the initial 2008 consensus statement. His research interests center around system level disaster planning, and he is also actively engaged in quality improvement and sepsis program development at the health system level.
Dr. Dichter did his Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at NIH, Internal Medicine Residency at Los Angeles County General Hospital, attended Medical School at the University of Southern California, and undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley. He currently lives in Minneapolis-St. Paul, is an Intensivist for Allina Health, a 12 hospital health system, and oversees Allinaââ¬â¢s Critical Care and Sepsis Programs.
