Biography
Isabel Sospedra has a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (University of Valencia, Spain, 2009). She also holds a bachelor?s degree in Pharmacy and a PhD in Food Science from the same university (University of Valencia, Spain, 2009). She started her career in academia with a postdoc position in the field of food science and cancer (Dept. of Phisiology, Autonomous University of Barcelona, UAB, Spain,) and she is currently Lecturer of Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Alicante (Faculty of Health Science).
In addition to my teaching and research activities, I am currently the coordinator of the degree of Human Nutrition and dietetics at the university of Alicante. I am also member of the Spanish Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Research Interest
Clinical nutrition, child obesity and food microbiology.
