Biography
Dr Isaac Ayensu obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in March 2000 and then pursued an MSc in pharmaceutical analysis and quality control at the same university graduating in March, 2003. He was appointed a lecturer at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, KNUST. He subsequently undertook PhD research in Pharmaceutical Sciences under a Commonwealth Scholarship at the University of Greenwich, graduating from 2009-12. Subsequently, he returned to Ghana to continue with his teaching and research activities. Dr Ayensu is currently a Senior Lecturer as well as the Head, at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He actively maintains his research interests and has published extensively as well as presented at several national and international conferences. He is a reviewer for the Pharmaceutical Biology Journal and the International Journal of Pharmaceutics.
