Biography

Dr. Hum Nath Jnawali is a Research Professor from Konkuk University, Seoul, South Korea. He holds a MSc degree in organic chemistry (Department of Chemistry, Tribhuwan University/Nepal) and PhD degree in Biochemistry (Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering, SunMoon University, Asan/ South Korea). Dr. Jnawali was focused on ß-lactam antibiotic, clavulanic acid (CA) from Streptomyces clavuligerus which covers the identification and characterization of clavulanic acid biosynthetic genes and enhancement of CA production during doctoral course. He was also involved in the identification of first and second drug resistance mechanism in M. tuberculosis. Presently, Dr. Jnawali is working in the identification of anti-inflammatory, anti-tuberculosis and anti-cancer drugs using computational analysis and its effect and mode of action in different cell lines.
