Biography
Myself Dr. H. Nagabhushana obtained M.Sc., M.Phil and Ph.D degrees from Bangalore University and D.Sc degree from Tumkur University. I have more than fifteen years of experience in both teaching and research. My research field includes preparation of nanophosphors, nano catalysts, nano sensors, fuel cell electrode materials, nano ceramics, bioceramics, nano metal oxides; by various methods of preparations like combustion, hydrothermal, Sol-gel, biosynthesis, etc. Under my guidance till date four students awarded for their Ph.D. program and ten students awarded for their M.Phil program. Further, two students submitted their thesis and six students are presently working in the fields of luminencence, green synthesis, magnetic and transport properties of metal oxides, oxyfluroids, oxysulphides etc. for renewable energy, display devices and biotechnological applications. I co-authored to the two numbers of books which are published by the internationally recognized publishers. As a PI / Co-PI there are eight number of projects worth of rupees 300 lakhs are completed / under progress; sanctioned by various government organizations like DST, ISRO etc. As an author, published 174 numbers and communicated 7 numbers of papers in the peer reviewed international journals.
