Biography
Dr. Stephen Chan graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2000. Shortly after obtaining his specialist qualification in Medical Oncology in 2007, Dr. Chan was invited to join the Department of Clinical Oncology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong as Assistant Professor in 2008. Dr. Chan has been awarded the Gold medal Prize for dissertation in 2007 and Young investigator award in 2008 by the Hong Kong College of Physician, and has published a number of publications including 2 first authored articles in Journal of Clinical Oncology as well as comments in the Lancet. Dr. Chan has been the principal investigator of a number of clinical trials including projects funded by General Research Fund and Hong Kong Health and Research Fund of Hong Kong Government, as well as international grants such as the Sister Institution National Fund of MD Anderson Center for cancer.

Clinical and traditional researches for gastrointestinal cancers, especially hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancers.
