Biography
Saurabh K Bhardwaj is a research scientist at The Children?s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA (CHOP) in the department of Hematolgy. Earlier, he gained Bachelors and Masters of Science, Biotechnology from Panjab University, India. He studied the role of antioxidants at experimental Medicine division, Postgraduate Institute of Medical and Educational Research while working as a research scientist. He moved to USA and earned Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Before joining CHOP he worked at MD Anderson Cancer Research Center in Texas as Research Scientist and contributed in the field of cancer by identifying some drug targets in chromatin remodelers. He has authored exciting research article in chromatin protein biochemistry field. He is currently studying sickle cell disorder using gene and cell therapy approaches and pushing his work to clinical trials.
